We support children, young people, and adults, and the people around them, to build practical skills, improve daily life, and strengthen emotional well-being. Behaviour Collaborations is a nationally registered NDIS Behaviour Support Provider delivering person-centred Positive Behaviour Support and trauma-informed mental health counselling for participants, families and support networks.

About Us

Behaviour Collaborations was founded in direct response to the growing needs of our local community for high-quality, person-centred disability support services, with a particular focus on specialised positive behaviour support plans and mental health counselling to enhance daily living skills. Our organisation emerged from a deep commitment to ensuring that individuals with disabilities are not only supported but truly empowered to live with dignity, independence, and purpose.

In addition to our work as an NDIS Behaviour Support Provider, we deliver comprehensive Mental Health Counselling Services and person-centred therapeutic support for privately funded and DVA clients.

As a nationally registered NDIS Behaviour Support Provider under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), we are proud to deliver a comprehensive range of services tailored to meet the unique goals, challenges and aspirations of each participant. We work in close collaboration with individuals, their families, carers, and support networks to ensure a personalised, responsive, and respectful approach to service delivery.

    Advanced Behaviour Practitioner: P1317395
    Director

I have resided in the Redlands area for over 20 years and have raised my two children within the local school system. With a background rooted in public service, I am committed to making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

In my previous position, I provided support to highly vulnerable patients both during and after medical procedures, requiring advanced skills and experience in CPR, first aid, and wound dressing. Following an extensive tenure in the public sector, I sought more purposeful work and subsequently pursued further education.

Upon earning a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a major in Psychology, focusing on Behaviour Change, I joined an organisation within the child protection sector. Through this role, I worked with highly vulnerable children and developed expertise in areas including sexual abuse and trauma, family breakdowns, substance misuse, disability arising from abuse, and neglect. My experiences in this sector motivated me to continue my professional development.

After completing my Master’s degree in Social Work, I took on the role of Support Coordinator at a NDIS organisation, followed by a position as a Behaviour Practitioner at a large organisation. In this capacity, I managed a substantial caseload and was responsible for developing and implementing several Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs) for participants with a range of disabilities.

My expertise lies in training, which remains the aspect of my work I value most.

corinne

After six months of working for this large organisation, I made the decision to establish my own business, allowing greater autonomy over my caseload and practice framework. Over the past five years, I have steadily developed my organisation, and my reputation for delivering high-quality work within the industry is increasingly recognised.

As an Advanced Behaviour Practitioner, I specialise in complex cases and possess extensive experience in forensic settings, secure mental health environments, and significant mental health diagnoses.

I am currently the Director of Behaviour Collaborations, overseeing a team of practitioners and providing both supervision and leadership. I have the opportunity to provide both behaviour support and counselling in clinic.

Jason Brien

Hello, my name is Jason, and I hold a Bachelor of Psychological Science. As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner I work with a wide range of NDIS participants - from young children (aged 3+) to older adults (60+). I have experience supporting individuals with complex needs and a variety of diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (Levels 2 and 3), Intellectual Disability (moderate, severe, and profound), Prader-Willi Syndrome, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, Cri du Chat Syndrome, MECP2 Duplication Syndrome, Dementia, Stroke, Personality Disorders, and many more.

I take a person-centred, strengths-based approach to behaviour support and always aim to understand the underlying needs behind behaviours of concern. I work closely with participants, families, carers, and support teams to develop practical, evidence-based strategies that improve quality of life, promote independence, and reduce restrictive practices wherever possible.

I believe in building strong, respectful relationships with the people I support and ensuring that their goals, preferences, and cultural values are central to all planning and decision-making. I value collaboration, open communication, and ongoing learning, and I am committed to providing high-quality, ethical support that truly makes a difference. While the role can be challenging, it is incredibly rewarding to see positive change and to empower people to live more meaningful, safe, and connected lives.

Belinda Witts

Hello, my name is Belle. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychological Science, Criminology, and Criminal Justice. I grew up in the Redlands and am now raising my daughter in the same community, which has strengthened my commitment to supporting individuals and families in the local area.

My experience spans positive behaviour support, disability support and personal care. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of disabilities, mental health conditions, and complex support needs. This includes experience supporting individuals living with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma-related conditions, schizophrenia, psychosocial disabilities, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), intellectual disabilities, Down syndrome, and participants with complex behavioural and support needs.

Through my years of working in the disability sector I developed strong skills in mentoring, education, leadership, and supporting young people to build confidence and independence. My work has strengthened my understanding of person-centred practice, helping individuals achieve their goals while promoting choice, independence, dignity, and inclusion.

As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, I use trauma-informed, evidence-based, and person-centred approaches to understand the underlying reasons for behaviours of concern and to develop practical, meaningful strategies that improve quality of life. I enjoy working collaboratively with participants, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to create Positive Behaviour Support Plans that are tailored to each individual's strengths, goals, and needs.

The most rewarding part of my role is seeing participants achieve their goals, develop new skills, build confidence, and experience lasting, positive change. I am committed to empowering the people I support by providing compassionate, respectful, and practical guidance that helps them live fulfilling and meaningful lives.

Jennifer Rose

I was blessed to be able to move from the UK to Australia 6 years ago. I grew up in London and then moved to the Suffolk coast to raise my children. I am a positive person with a drive to find joy where I can. I love being able to see the sun and the ocean here in Australia rather than the rain of England. I have a grown son who lives with Prader-Willi Syndrome.

I worked for almost 18 years as a Psychology Lecturer and since moving to Australia have worked for Child Safety and the NDIS. I graduated with a bachelor degree in criminology and minor psychology. I then gained my teaching qualification and studied for a Certificate in Further Professional Development at Cambridge University. Whilst at Cambridge I had a paper published relating to closing the gap in education for vulnerable young people.

l have valued experience and qualifications in education as well as therapeutic roles, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of those living with disability. As a behaviour practitioner I focus on rapport building with no judgment or criticism. My goal in working with families is to help individuals develop positive behaviours and reduce or eliminate harmful or disruptive behaviours.

Hi, my name is Ella. I am a graduate of the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Behavioural Science and have grown up locally in the Redlands. I am passionate about understanding the complex relationship between behaviour, physical health, nutrition and psychological wellbeing, and I enjoy helping individuals build positive habits that support an improved quality of life.

Sport and nutrition have always been significant parts of my life and continue to influence my approach to practice. My love of sport has also taught me the importance of teamwork, resilience, and goal setting, values that I bring into my work with participants and their support networks.

My particular area of interest is supporting individuals experiencing eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), pica, and other specified feeding and eating disorders (OSFED). I strongly believe that movement, physical activity, and balanced nutrition can support in improving wellbeing when incorporated in a safe, individualised, and strengths-based way.

    Testimonials

Hear from participants and families who trust our behaviour support in Brisbane, Redlands and Ipswich and across Queensland.

“From the outset, Cameron’s mum, Dana, has expressed that for the first time in years she feels genuinely heard and supported. Jason has taken the time to listen, understand, and respond with practical strategies that are already making a noticeable difference in Cameron’s behaviours and overall wellbeing.

The contrast to previous BSP experiences has been remarkable. Where there was once silence or delay, Jason has brought transparency, consistency, and exceptionally prompt communication. Both SIL staff and community support workers have also commented on how refreshing it is to receive clear, timely advice that they can immediately implement. This has fostered a sense of confidence and unity across Cameron’s entire support team.

Dana has shared that she finally feels she has a practitioner who is not only guiding the process but genuinely partnering with her to achieve the best outcomes for Cameron. The relief and hope this has brought to the family cannot be overstated. Jason’s professionalism, empathy, and dedication have already made a lasting impact. The family and support team feel reassured knowing Cameron now has the very best support moving forward, and they are deeply grateful to have Jason as part of his journey. THANK YOU JASON AND BEHAVIOUR COLLABORATIONS xxx”
