Services available across our behaviour support service areas
Our team provides an integrated suite of supports so you can access the right help at the right time, across our behaviour support service areas in South East Queensland, regional Queensland, and Sydney.
This includes Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans, NDIS counselling and mental health support, NDIS reports and assessments, NDIS transition planning, play therapy NDIS, and TelePBS. Each service is designed to strengthen emotional wellbeing, communication, and quality of life, helping participants and families achieve calm, confidence, and consistency in everyday routines.
Positive Behaviour Support
plans
Our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans are developed collaboratively with each participant and their support network. The focus is practical, evidence-based strategies that fit real life - across home, school, and community settings - to build calm, confidence, and meaningful progress.
NDIS counselling and mental health support
We provide NDIS counselling and mental health support, as well as private and DVA counselling options. Sessions are tailored to each person's needs, preferences, and goals, with a focus on emotional wellbeing, resilience, and everyday coping strategies that improve quality of life.
NDIS reports and assessments
Our team prepares NDIS reports and assessments that clearly describe support needs, goals, and progress. Documentation can include letters and reports for NDIS plan reviews, funding requests, or changes in circumstances, helping ensure continuity of support and clear communication between all stakeholders.
NDIS transition planning
Our NDIS transition planning helps participants and families navigate major life changes with clarity and confidence. We focus on keeping routines, roles, and safety steps consistent across all environments, so transitions feel structured and supportive, and not overwhelming.
Play therapy NDIS
Our play therapy NDIS sessions are designed for children and young participants who benefit from a child-centred, developmentally appropriate approach. Sessions help build emotional regulation, communication, coping skills, and positive behaviour change in a safe, supportive environment.
TelePBS
TelePBS delivers Positive Behaviour Support through secure telehealth sessions, making it easier for participants and families to access consistent, NDIS-aligned support from home or regional locations. This flexible approach ensures continuity, collaboration, and practical guidance that fits everyday life.

FAQs
Can you help with reports for plan reviews, or when circumstances change?
Yes. If you need support with NDIS reports and assessments, we can assist with letters, review documentation, and progress updates. It helps to have (or be ready to share) any recent plans or reports, your current goals, and notes about day-to-day changes. If consent is needed to speak with schools, support workers, or other providers, we'll guide you through the simplest way to organise that.
What does TelePBS actually look like, beyond a video call?
This form of telehealth behaviour support ensures continuity of care for families across all our behaviour support service areas in Queensland and Sydney. It's used to maintain consistency between appointments, provide caregiver coaching, and keep strategies on track when travel or scheduling makes in-person sessions less practical. This form of telehealth behaviour support ensures continuity of care for families across all our behaviour support service areas in Queensland.
How does support usually start after I enquire?
Once we understand your suburb and what type of support you're seeking, our team will confirm which of our behaviour support service areas covers your location and the most suitable appointment option - either local or telehealth behaviour support through TelePBS. You'll then receive clear next steps, including what information we'll need before your first session.
How do you work with schools, support workers, or other providers?
With consent, we liaise directly with relevant people in your support network so strategies are practical, consistent, and easy to implement across home, school, and community settings. This collaborative approach is central to how we deliver support across all our behaviour support service areas, and is reflected throughout every one of our Positive Behaviour Support plans to ensure everyone involved works toward the same goals.
Does my child need a diagnosis to access NDIS behaviour support?
A formal diagnosis is not always required to access NDIS behaviour support Queensland wide, or NDIS behaviour support Sydney. What matters is that the participant has an active NDIS plan that includes funding under the Improved Relationships or Capacity Building support categories. Our practitioners work with a wide range of presentations across all our behaviour support service areas, including children and adults who are awaiting a formal diagnosis. If you are unsure whether your current plan includes behaviour support funding, contact our team and we can help you review your options.
Can we switch to Behaviour Collaborations if we already have a behaviour support provider?
Yes - participants and families can change behaviour support providers at any time. The process involves notifying your current provider and updating your service agreement. Our team will guide you through the transition and, with consent, can request relevant reports and documentation from your previous provider to ensure continuity. We accept referrals across all our behaviour support service areas in South East Queensland, regional Queensland, and Sydney, including for participants who are mid-plan and not approaching a review.
Can behaviour support be delivered at school as well as at home?
Yes - our practitioners can deliver support across multiple settings, including home, school, and community environments. Positive Behaviour Support plans are specifically designed to be consistent across all settings where the participant spends time. With consent from the school and relevant parties, our practitioners can observe participants in the classroom, meet with teachers and support staff, and develop strategies that work within the school environment. This is available across our behaviour support service areas in South East Queensland and Sydney.
What is the difference between plan managed, self managed and agency managed NDIS funding for behaviour support?
Behaviour Collaborations accepts all three NDIS funding management types across our behaviour support service areas. Plan managed participants pay through their plan manager. Self-managed participants pay directly and claim reimbursement through the NDIS portal. Agency-managed participants access support through the NDIS portal directly. For NDIS behaviour support Brisbane, NDIS behaviour support Sydney, and South East Queensland participants, our team can help you understand which management type applies to your plan and what steps are needed to get started, regardless of how your funding is managed.
What happens to our behaviour support plan if we move to a different area?
Your Positive Behaviour Support plans remain valid if you move, and in most cases your existing plan can be reviewed and adapted to your new environment rather than starting from scratch. Behaviour Collaborations covers behaviour support service areas across Queensland and Sydney, so in many cases your current practitioner can continue supporting you via TelePBS, or we can arrange a transition to a practitioner closer to your new location. For moves within our NDIS behaviour support Queensland and NDIS behaviour support Sydney service areas, continuity of support is usually straightforward to maintain.
Is this form suitable for urgent or crisis support?
No. The enquiry form is not monitored for emergencies. If there is immediate risk or urgent safety concerns, please contact emergency services on 000, or reach out to an appropriate crisis service such as Lifeline (13 11 14) or Kids Helpline (1800 55 1800).
